8 of 25Nagase Reiko in HD is hot. The cars, however, look like total garbage. I purchased the original version a few years ago for my iPhone 3G, and you have the gall to ask for my money again for this terrible HD version? No.
I would gladly spend the $12 on the full version if you guys would get this game running at native resolution on an iPad that's nearly a year old at this point. I know it's basically a PSP port, but I'm 100% behind that if you'll fix the resolution.
Deceitful, this game requires that you "purchase" the full version.

I downloaded it. Installed it. Opened it. Saw the upgrade to full game price and deleted it. Immediately! What an insult. Better race games available at MUCH better prices. Keep your console ports and your ridiculous prices.
This game is terrible. it uses clunky screen controls, but the real deal breaker is the manual mode. I like to play racing games in manual mode because you feel better about winning the race. I mean if your using auto then you got help from the computer....using manual mode allows ME to win...anyway...theirs no rpm gauge on screen, and the car makes the same dull humm no matter what gear or speed you go...you just randomly shift and hope your In the right gear....yah I'll stick to GT RACING HD which lets me customize the controls, has great car response (and an rpm gauge -though you don't really need it...you can use your ears to tell you when to shift)
This is so insane, I love Ridge Racer and haven't played for a while. I go to fire it up and it's acting like I don't own the full version!! Then I see in the release notes that iOS7 isn't supported!!?? A flagship Namco classic unsupported on iOS7, why? The new RR game doesn't capture the essence of RR the way this one did, such a shame. Please fix this up for iOS7!!! Ok, updated to 4 stars... I dug through some menus and it looked like it wanted me to pay $12 for the full version. I clicked the option to purchase but it told me I already owned the full version, and after that the game is now working again! Weird bug but as long as it works I'm fine with it.
THIS app is a complete lie!!!!! It's not free!!!! To do anything besides this one thing u have to pay MONEY for it!!! huge DISCLAIMER!!!!!
