8 of 25I love this synth, have been using it for a very long time! Please update it to an au3, I will pay! Thanks!
A synth I would buy again and again, it's deep, ridiculously versatile, gorgeous sound (and design), actual genius.
The only complaint I have about this synth is the aesthetic could be improved....the app icon is horrible. Other than that, this is an amazing instrument, and should be in any serious musicians arsenal of tools. I love it!
This app has plenty of great sounds, but there are so many issues. The main one being crashing. I am running the latest iOS and have the most current version of this app. I am running the app on an iPhone 6. This is the first app I have encountered, since I acquired this phone, that crashes on a regular basis. There are also many small glitches within the app that arouse as time goes on. There are broken links, issues with recording, glitchy inconsistent rhythms, and a subpar interface. This app has so much potential to be great, but it has way too many issues for me to even consider using it for any work right now. I gave it 2 out of 5 stars, instead of 1, because I believe a little hard work from the developers can make this a great app. As of right now, I do not recommend that anyone buy this app.
Also excels at evolving rhythms and drones. This is an iPad "classic" app with plenty to explore.
This is a fantastic app for making pads and ambient sounds. The presets are wild and you can make some super crazy sounds of your own. You can record what you play into garageband. Endless fun.
Still an essential synth, nicely maintained.
Crystal XT is a beast with fantastic sounds, tons of controls, is universal and works in about every way one needs (Audiobus, IAA).

Can't recommend this app enough, especially for the price.
