New York Daily News iPad version

Every month or so the paper won’t download. Very frustrating and very annoying. Makes want to cancel. Happened again today.

Recently the app has gone from uploading the “Sports final”(latest edition) to the “Metro edition”, which is basically yesterday’s News. You would think by subscribing to a digital newspaper, you would get the latest version, not so in this case. This should be an easy issue to rectify…let’s see what happens.

Can’t read the digital paper because it never unpauses.

For the past two days, the paper hasn’t downloaded. <br/>I contacted customer support, so we’ll see how long it takes for a response.

Ever since I downloaded the latest IOS update this app has stopped working. Editions do not download, stay forever frozen “paused”<br/>For years I used this app and really enjoyed it but now it no longer works! Does the NY Daily News no longer support this app! I’ve emailed NY Daily News about this but have not received any support!

Only pauses and nothing more. Reinstalled a few times, tried contacting support, no response.

You only get the early Metro edition which doesn’t have the latest news or sports scores. Why can’t they update it? Once again one of the editions wouldn’t download and tech support was useless. They said they’d get back within 24 hours when the paper would be useless and they never did call back. As other readers have indicated the paper downloads with random blank pages. It took multiple calls to tech services before they understood the problem and the problem still persists. The paper also cuts off the ends of some articles. Doesn’t anyone at theDaily News read their own paper and see these problems?

After payment I tried to download issue and it reads to download. After a few seconds it says paused. Removing the app and reinstalling gives me the same result. I this happened after a new update of the app. I lost my $13.99 because the NY daily news support was no help.
