I downloaded because people liked it. Must not be anyone using .mov files. I am running an iPad air with latest upspates. This program is unable to run any .mov files I have. They star stutter then stop.
I've tested this app only on wmv files and it works great, but one important feature is missing that prevents me from using it a regular basis -- it doesn't run in the background, so if I need to take notes in another app while listening to a lecture (which is often) the app won't allow that. What I do like is that the app plays my wmv files very well, which so many other apps are lacking, and I also like the fact that the app continues playing where I left off (sort of like bookmarking my spot, but the video version). I store a lot of video files in Goodreader, so now I can open my video files from there inside Movie Player. Just wish the developer would add the ability to play in the background then it would be a 5 star app for me.

Great video app. No need to convert formats is the feature that's most useful to me. Very convenient!

It would only let me pick one choice,it's really lame.I do not recommend this app at all.Im being nice by giving this a one at all. Really , I don't think it's the app that's horrible , I think it's just me.
