I’ve been using slingbox for more than 10 years. Is it perfect? No, but it was THE BEST money I’ve ever spent. I travel internationally a lot, and never miss a show, my local news, record shows for watching in any time zone.....it gets only 4 stars as their support is not great, and there are occasions where it disconnects frequently, but benefits definitely outweigh these. If you travel, it’s a must!
DO NOT BUY A SLING BOX OR THIS APP!<br/><br/>After years and years there is still ZERO software development, at least for iOS. How can a video application like this not support picture-in-picture?!?! And it is impossible to speak to or communicate with anyone at the company about the appalling lack of features (or anything else for that matter). Stay away from this company. <br/><br/>After waiting literally years for a “major update” can they really continue to ignore picture-in-picture. I will never buy another piece of Slingbox hardware until they implement picture-in-picture.

Upgrade left app unusable. No remote and all buttons are non responsive. I am unable to control my TV now from my iPad. I know sling box is working correctly because it seems to work fine from my computer. Please fix this.
Honestly, don’t bother wasting your money. Couldn’t be more dissatisfied with a product 3 weeks in. Application has substantial lag. Needs to be reloaded multiple times to get a connection only to lose it again within minutes
No longer works reliably with the update to IOS 13. The video times out after a few minutes and then you need to wait 10 minutes and try to connect back repeatedly. Needs an app update but I wouldn’t hold your breath as there hasn’t been an app update in one year. I’ve owned Slingboxes since the very first device but I suspect with the prevalence of streaming offerings this product will unfortunately enter the end of life stage.d
Everything works great with iOS 12 and slingbox solo. Lost the PIP function though. Updates?
