It was my first time traveling to another country. That country you needed an Eticket. No one here told me. I was going with a friend. She got an email from American Airlines telling her. They had her info because she did a seat upgrade. When I called American Airlines they told me they didn’t have any of my information to send me any emails and updates on the flight. So I went on line and I paid $85. My friend did it with American Airlines paid nothing. Orbitz couldn’t tell my way they did have information. And I asked them about the Eticket. She said it was on their site. I told her I didn’t see anything about that when I look up information on my trip on their app. She said you need to go on the website. I told her I’ve never traveled out of the country and they should have emailed what information to make sure I had everything to get in to the other country. The insurance they give you didn’t cover this. So, I’m out $85. So, I think they don’t communicate with customers at all and the airlines to give them your information. I’ll never use them again.
Nice easy and very good price
I was driving across the country and, unfortunately, didn’t get a hotel booked before midnight. Once the date changed, the Orbitz app wouldn’t let me book a room for immediate check-in, even though rooms were available. It left me with no option but to keep driving and hope I could stay awake long enough to find somewhere else to stop. For travelers on long road trips, this is a major issue and could even become a safety concern. The app should allow users to book available rooms for same-night check-in after midnight instead of treating it like the next day’s reservation.
I never have a problem scheduling trips with Orbitz. Prices are reasonable with easy access to destinations and hotels. I’ve tried other resources, but nothing beats Orbitz.
I mistakenly booked the wrong night for a hotel. When I arrived they told me that since I had booked through Orbitz, the date could be moved but only by Orbitz. Orbitz support proceeded to lie to me and say it was against the hotel policy to change dates. Book directly from the hotel and skip an intermediary willing to lie to you.

I travel very often and used Orbitz to book my travel in Colombia. While doing so last year, my connecting flight was delayed and the carrier offered me credit for another flight. The credit would have covered an entire flight. When I attempted to use the credits several months ago, Orbitz told me that they do NOT exist…although it was on my reservation and on my cancellation confirmation. Orbitz insisted they were not there when I was currently LOOKING AT THEN IN THE SCREEN. They insulted me and stole my money. Even the airline stated the credits were given for me however Orbitz had to release them. You lost a long time committed customer.
