Way off

Works!

Works just like it says, even when google maps compass doesn't update.

Simple, like it's description!

Wow, not bad. I didn't test against any scientific instrumentation but but out of the box, it's simplicity and repeatability impressed me. I intend to do some further testing only because it warrants it. An iPhone/iPad Touch version would be awesome (hint, hint, wink, wink). Altitude didn't register a value.

Test what it says

Useless

By moving around my iPad I managed to get it to point to north and settle there in just about every direction. I was also amazed, whilst sitting at my desk at home I was moving at 14mph. It's not so much the .99c that annoys me about these crap apps, it's that Apple don't seem to care how much their customers are ripped off. I believe every app should have a 24 hour test time before purchase. There would be way less fake apps being downloaded.
