8 of 25Good app when's the new update coming
Was hoping to use this app for playing live samples during our sets. Turns out (they dont tell you this) when using the trigger pads you are only limited to 16seconds of your sample. Plus, you cannot name/edit the actual triggers. I guess if youre a shady dubstep ipad dj, this app would be great for you.
I do like using this app, but I just got the impc and it does much better for what I need. I'll still use sample lab, but it has some odd ways of doing things. For instance, when you load a new sample into your song, there is no way to preview the sample. Thats a little odd.
Can't load my own files from itunes, so that kind of ruins 99% of why i wanted to use this app, especially since the provided samples are limited and not that great to work with. Would really hesitate before spending $7 on this
This has become one of the best tools for performances I've purchased for my iPad. It gives me the flexibility to manipulate my songs live while simultaneously running other apps.
That sums it up....can't believe they are still selling this. Hasn't been updated in years, so it doesn't work easily with most current audio apps. Might be ok if you are using old hardware but even then, other apps do more stuff better than this one. Sale price is no bargain to the user. If you buy it, you will regret your decision. Set your money on fire in the street instead.
Amazing app! Very intuitive, very reliable. One of the best professional music app in the market. Easy to integrate with Pro Tools.
Brought this App after seeing the promo video. Love the fact the program is relatively small in size (29.1 MB) App has a nice layout but performance wise it still needs work. Loaded App on my Ipad 2 with 50GB+ space available with no problems. Loaded a WAV file, no problems. Played the WAV file (once), tried to load another WAV file, problem -program crashed. Tried to load original WAV again, program crashed. Removed program from Ipad, then did re-install then tried to load WAV again, program crashed and now continues to crash when trying to load WAV files or Mp3 files; possible buffer issues? Waiting for fixes to be released also will try loading smaller WAV files. Will also look at other programs like this. Bottomline, App looks good until you take it out for a spin... App has potential to be a killer but until bugs are fixed, save your money.
