FAIL

by MacGeekSummer · August 30, 2016

After deleting duplicate photos within the app and then emptying the trash, I go to my camera roll on my iPhone to see that the photos have NOT been deleted from my phone after all. What a waste of money! Someone needs to create a good app for organizing your photos the way you want, having the option to drag and reorder them however you like, and actually delete duplicates. Trust me, this is NOT that app!

This is discontinued!

Do not buy this app! I paid $2.99 and during first use a screen popped up to say the project was discontinued and I could spend another $2.99 for Manager Pro 5.

Pursuit of cash over honesty :(

As an app developer who has written large scale archiving applications using sqlite and core data, I call BS on the quote "We didn't switch to a new app for the money but only to correct database issues". Migration can be tricky but is definitely possible.

It's sad that you instead blame this on your own previous flawed effort. You deserve to be paid for your hard work in optimizing the app, but it would be more honest to make the new features (including new DB schema) to be enabled via in-app purchase.

The best

This is THE app for managing your photos. I move all my good photos from the camera roll to this app to manage them. This is what camera roll should be.

WHAT!!??

Perfect!

Ignore the ignorance

This app continues to work, as it has for years. Now iOS warns that it will slow down the iPad, which is because it is a 32-bit app, which Apple will no longer support after an upcoming iOS update. If you don't do the update, then continue to enjoy this fine app. The developer has produced a NEW app which does not elicit the warning, so it must be a 64-bit app. He has also provided a path to transfer to the new app, which worked pretty well, if not perfectly, for me. The new ap has all the old features, plus some nifty new ones. Notice the griping below over a $2.99 charge for what is more than a refinement of the old app. I see no sign that they had a clue about iOS and the reason for the new app.

Greedy

Instead of updating, by lauching a new app which actually updated version of v.4. Greedy. If you want to keep same app title and brand, you should update, or you should launch a new app under defferent name. Very sad.
