8 of 25I installed this application the day I got my AR.Drone, and I LOVE it! The ability to record your flights is just awesome. The features in the app that don't exist in the standard app make this a very worthwhile purchase. Well done!
The need to record screen shots and video on the drone seems obvious enough. This app makes it easy to do both and since it retains the basis drone controls you can use it right away. Sadly the video can be clear one second and too grainy to use the next. Even when sitting fairly still at 30 feet up the recorded video goes in and out of a super grainy focus. It's still my default flight tool but I hope the video recording can be improved. It's well worth the price.
Great app! 2 suggestions: * It would be great if there were some sort of user-defined auto snapshot feature. * When saving videos, the file name format isn't as useful as it could be, since month names don't sort correctly. Instead of "month-day-year hour.minute.second" how about "year-month(numeric)-day hour.minute.second"
Finally had the guts to take outside and fly. Had a great time. Kept altitude lock on though. Afraid of fly away. Flew full battery with only one small crash into the bushes. I love this setup. Watching the video after the flight is a plus. I recommend this to anyone that likes flying rc aircraft.
This version is much less stable. I can't get the drone to move forward smoothly. How do I go back to the previous version? I like this app but not this version
No ability to change cameras only forward camera. Left handed control no longer works. Removed and re-installed still same problem. How can I go back to the previous version ! Very disappointed.
I tried this out and was able to switch camera modes by tapping camera icon on top left of display. Could also record and take pictures. Minor issues; - when taking off, I would briefly get a no start received message. It would disappear after one flash - the altimeter didn't read correctly after a moderate climb to a high height, followed by a quick drop, i. e. slowly taking the drone up to 20 ft, and then bringing it back to 2ft quickly (auto recover w/ ultrasonic sensor) the alt display in the app showed the drown at 22ft. The app never corrected itself for the rest of the fight ~ 5 more min
Well I was flying my ar drone an it's seem to get frozen on the screen that when I try to go up it doesn't do anything for a coup of sec then it will work again I using a iPod touch 4 g 4.3 does it work still with the 4.3 ? Because when I fly my screen get lock up for few sec with no control so am trying to see if it's my iPod touch 4g 4.3 or maybe it doesn't work get on the 4.3 iPod update yet?!
