8 of 25Pocket frogs is very fun. But I wish there were more colors or color mixing, like how Tempero combines colors of the parent frogs into a unique color. Something like that with the species patterns would be cool too, but that seems hard to implement.

I don’t like how the racing is rigged against you. Even with a Triquetra with better stats than all other Topologia frogs, it wins inconsistently. Races are my favorite, but I wish the gameplay could be more skill based. This is a classic game, but I think only adding more scenery items and frog patterns in updates isn’t enough. Leveling up isn’t useful once you are past 50. I noticed Flagro had a 10 level gap to unlock breeding, instead of 1 level. The daisy field is a copy of the pond.

I like how scenery limits are increasing. But I hope for a scenery resize option (like 10%, 50%, 100%, etc., increase). It looks unnatural to have 5 rocks be the same size. Different ambient light options for habitats would be amazing. Moving backgrounds and items, like rippling water, sparkly frost, swaying leaves, would be cool. I think scenery item shadows also need advancement.

Dynamic lighting, backgrounds, and items would be valuable rewards.

I think Pocket Frogs can let players be more creative by adding new features, which changes how players use existing scenery items.

Adding limited edition breeds would increase engagement. I think it’s too easy to get them all and be done. It’s good for the company to have some breeds to be paywalled and unshareable, like Mythical class. But adding shareable frog breeds, colors, or sizes that players can only get for a week or two would encourage them to trade with friends and play more frequently.
Good game. One does not have to spend money or watch ads to have fun. I’ve got 100% of the Anura frogs. And several of the other breeds.
I don’t like the update with the change in visuals for habitat options. It disturbs me in a game about staying the same forever. I hope they switch it back. But I am also glad they kept it in the same aesthetic.
Overall, this game is relaxing and is a really fun collectors game, however. I feel like that adding a level 50 frog after level 40 frogs is a huge jump and such a power creep. Especially since time travel is removed and making XP quite difficult to farm and it makes it difficult to catch up
I played this game years ago and I love coming back to it. Unfortunately the app now crashes constantly and I can’t even switch between habitats without having to close.
My FAVORITE game for years and I’m loving all the new stuff—all the more stuff, especially the BLUE. Besides the frogs, I love decorating the environments! I can’t THANK YOU enough!
I remember downloading this game when I got my first 1 iPhone back in the 2010’s and my dad and I would bond over this game together. I love that it’s still running to this day. I see the updates the developers add every once in a while. My dad past in 2019. So being able to play this game makes me feel close to him. Also no adds! You have no idea how much of a breath of fresh air that is. It makes it such a fun and calm experience.
I originally downloaded this game around 2010/2011, and since then, I’ve grown fond of Pocket Frogs as a part of my childhood. I was amazed to discover that the dev team STILL cares about it, and that they regularly update it so that lifelong fans can continue to enjoy such a beloved, chill game. The graphics are delightful as always, it’s easy to learn but hard to master collecting them all, and it brings me back to the game year in and year out!
