iGo1984 HD

Loaded this app on the iPad2. Version 1.2 works as advertised and I did not have any of the problems the first reviewer had with an earlier version.<br/><br/>I did have one issue getting the app to connect to my go1984 server. I had to recreate the login user and reload the go1984 server (v3.8.2.0). After this was figured out the app worked splendidly. I sent an email to support and they responded within 5 minutes. I have been using go1984 video software for 5 years. Superb video surveillance software, supports hundreds of different cameras, excellent support.

I seem to be to only one reviewing this app. I reviewed the original version. When I called customer service about the problems they said they where aware of the problems and where comming out with an update. <br/><br/>Now I have the update. Originally it seemed slightly better. I was able to play recordings, although on the second play they always played in fast motion. Now it seems they're playing in slow motion again (one frame per second).<br/><br/>If I click the &quot;Date&quot; button the app locks up. I need to go to the multi-tasking bar to shut the app down (I'm using it on the iPhone4).<br/><br/>Sometimes even shuting the app down isn't good enough, I need to reboot (power off/on) the phone. To get rid of the &quot;Warning server xxxx seems not to be a go1984 server!&quot; message.<br/><br/>Some problems seem to be intermittent:<br/>1. When the app first comes on it's displaying pictures from the previous day and it's hard to tell that the pictures are not live.<br/>2. It was showing 2 pages of cameras, 6 cameras each page. I only have 6 cameras, so they where all duplicates ( This seems to have stopped).<br/>3. When I click &quot;Recordings&quot; it showed recordings from the previous day. This is one case where the &quot;Date&quot; button worked, and allowed me to get to the correct day.<br/><br/>Needed feature:<br/>When playing videos, there's no progress bar. You can't even tell the video is playing, especially if it's playing at 1 frame per second.

Need update for ISO 11 can’t view my cameras it’s a great app just need it to work on this phone

I've been a go1984 user for many years. It's an excellent application that provides IP camera recording and playback. Some of the great features include the ability to use a wide variety of camera models, a web server to access clips remotely, and many display features that organize clips in a sensible way. <br/><br/>Now that there's a working iPad and iPhone app, the system is complete for quick mobile access. go1984 Enterprise Pro is not cheap, and neither is the app, but if you're serious about video surveillance, this is well worth it for the quality and flexibility it offers. Also, I've found the support to be satisfactory over the years.
