“Dead Runner is a unique take on the endurance run genre, immersing you in the action with a first-person point of view. It’s a somewhat creepy, yet exhilarating, almost Blair Witch like experience.” – Appaddict.net
“Like Blair Witch without the cursing and motion sickness …This is one of those times when I keep pausing from writing just to squeeze in another run. Dead Runner thrives on that “just one more try” compulsion, and features a great list of challenging Achievements.” – ZTGD.com
“I didn’t expect it to be so intense that I haven’t been able to put it down till I beat my highscore – and when I do, I’ll want to beat that.” – Touchaholics.com
You wake up in a dark forest, surrounded by the sounds of the wailing souls trapped in the haunted trees. The howling wind is delivering a chilling message of evil which is drawing closer by the second. The cold whispers of the forgotten souls tell you to run as far as you can, as fast as you can before it’s too late.
You cannot hide or stop for it can see you, find you and take you.

8 of 25I bought this due to the average rating and the screenshots, but I was very disappointed in the game. All you do is run and avoid trees and sometimes run through objects in the air if you play a certain mode. The are no monsters, no zombies, no people to kill. Just trees you avoid. Graphics are interesting and animation executes well, thus I gave it 2 stars, but to be honest I had a hard time giving it that many. Visually the game is interesting, but it REALLY needs more involved gameplay.
It falls into the category of easy, cheap ($.99) diversion. Increasing audio cues would be much more effective than visual in chase mode (vs the cheesy red line). Kinda destroys the suspension of disbelief the creator is trying to set up.
Needs to be like mirrors edge
I keep coming back to this game almost everyday. Simple and addictive. Deserves to be in the top 25. Highly recommended!!
Epic game but don't exit looking at the highscores it won't come back up just be a white screen plz fix
I haven't played this in a while, but now when I try to, this "game center" thing pops up and there is no access to the game itself... Can't play it. I don't want this stupid Game Center thing... As for the game itself? I played it a lot in the past, consists of running through a forest and dodging trees... Not bad, not amazing either.
So I spent 1 buck on this game. There isn't much you can do with a buck these days except buy anything you want at dollar general. Or maybe a Justin bieber song on ITunes. Both equally sad. Here is the game... Spoiler alert... You dodge trees. No ghosts.. No monsters... No witches. Just trees. So I'm going to spend one more dollar and buy a bieber song and then kill myself. Thank you for your time.
Simple y muy adictivo tal vez le falta un poco de diversificación a el estilo de juego pero en general muy recomendable.
