8 of 9Great service, solid app. Could ask for a few additional features, but it serves its purpose.
Simple but gets the job done. Couple thing you could add is report a problem with a bike or station and request a new station option.
This is a standard Google Maps app that marks the locations of Nice Ride MN stations around you. It works. They added a slick timer to let you know how much longer you have - though you have to add time and start the countdown. The app is super handy if you are exploring areas on the Nice Ride bikes. It's free. Stop reading this.

To the dev team: it'd be really cool if you could tie into the GPS API for ride tracking. It'd be sweet for it to track distance and time. A user could review how frequently they use the service and how far they travel. Based on that data, it could also alert people that they use the service enough to become a monthly member!
If you use Nice Ride, you need this app!
This app is aggressively terrible. I've seen better apps come from high school projects. Use Spotcycle, it's about 10,000 times better.

1) Location access cannot be set to only while the app is in use. This is a deal breaker right there.
2) App doesn't scale properly on iPhone 6s Plus. This is basic stuff people!
3) "Oh great a timer, that is so handy because my phone doesn't already have that feature," said no one ever.
4) At least the app developer's logo is prominently displayed so that in the future I can avoid them like the plague.
The app works well, showing where bike racks are nearby and how many bikes and empty slots are available.

However the only location service options are none and always. If I don't have an app up and running in the foreground I don't want to share that data.
Does not work with iOS11.
This app was great 3 years ago, but it's not optimized for newer iPhones and is sluggish. Is anyone even really up on this? The nice ride website doesn't even promote this app, they tell you to download another.
