8 of 25I loved cracked and I do enjoy this app but there are a few issues. 1. Layout. I don't get why there are just 5 articles listed on the first page. It has been like this for years and I don't know why anyone thought it was a good idea in the first place. Check out literally any other app like this to get ideas for a better layout. 2. The columnist article never opens. It's the last article on the first page and it never opens for me. I think the link may be broken. 3. Whenever I read an article, the suggestions for other articles at the bottom of the page are always the same. This app has been suggesting the same zombie article to me for years despite the the article I'm currently reading being completely unrelated.
Text size needs to be adjustable!
I love Cracked, honestly - They've given me a lot of miscellaneous knowledge and entertainment throughout the years. However, I recently bought an iPad and downloaded the Cracked app and... Wow, you guys, I'm absolutely speechless. Quite simply, this is the worst app I have ever attempted to use. I say "attempted" because I've never actually been able to get it to work. Tapping on any of the titles only loads the content maybe 1 out of every 5 times and except for the most recent items presented to click on, I don't see any other content. Nowhere to search for past articles, no links to other items that might be of interest, just the several most recent items. I know Cracked has had some employee turnover and financial issues lately, but c'mon, guys - If you can't make an app that works, at least take it out of the store until you can get the bugs worked out. For now, I'll just use the iPhone app, which works better, though not by much.
The app does not work! The website barely works. Dont support these people until they actaully care about their product and reach.
It's actually easier to read the articles in a web browser. This app is so glitchy and freezes constantly. Many articles don't show up when you click on them and just freeze the app.
Fix it
It is completely broken, freezes constantly, doesn't bring up the latest articles, and some buttons just don't go anywhere.
Over the past few weeks, the wrong article loads when you click on it. Also, for a long time my time now, whatever the last article is, it won't open at all.
