Out of the many apps I use on the iPad, this stays on the first page. It gets much use. That's high praise by me. It doesn't replace all controls, but it does control my Squeezebox systems very nicely.

Excellent

Smooth operation of LMS and Squeezelite on home built servers and players(raspberry pi and odroids). Excellent product.

Look No Further

I tried half a dozen or more apps to stream music from my ReadyNas Duo, and this is by far the best and most versatile.

Many apps will stutter or bork when they're not in focus, but this is a winner.

If you're already familiar with the SqueezePlay products, the interface is intuitive, fully functional, and stays out of the way.

I can play to my iPad, (upgrade required), which sealed the deal, but it can also control other SqueezePlay end points, like the app on my computer, and the hardware device attached to our hi-fi.

Expensive, but this is not an average app, and not a functionality on which I want to compromise.

You won't be disappointed unless you're looking for some fairly unusual features.

Still a Winner

This app has been outstanding from the first day I downloaded it over 5 years ago and it's still a winner. Works great every time, a must have.

The perfect controller for Squeezebox

by Salvatore Saieva · September 12, 2020

I’ve used SqueezePad frequently for many years. It’s a fantastic interface for Squeezebox music playback. It’s able to manage multiple Squeezebox devices and it thoroughly supports Squeezebox interface capabilities. SqueezePad will also emulate a Squeezebox device and will play music thru iPad speakers. If you’re using Squeezebox / Logitech Music Server, this is a must have app.

Best app on my Ipad

by Jeffl64 · May 23, 2014

For my first apple product, an Ipad mini, I hoped/trusted that someone would have written software to allow me to stream my Squeezebox server. I didn't expect such a well evolved app as Squeezepad. It is easier to use and works better than Logitech's efforts. Making my Ipad appear as another player to the squeeze server is worth the price alone. The great benefit for me is the excellent BBC Iplayer implementation...Many thanks to the developer.

Wow

Probably the most seamless app I’ve ever installed. Immediately found my vortexbox server and my squeezebox boom speaker. Perfect.

love it!

Love the new update (Oct, 2014). Looks good, some really nice, well thought out features, and so far I haven't found anything broken (worth saying I've never found anything broken in this app. Very robust. Does what it says it'll do!) The IPad makes for a Very expensive remote, I know, but if you have a squeezebox and an IPad, you Must get this app. Abso-Lutely. Furthermore, if you have Either a squeezebox or an iPad and are collecting reasons to get the other, this app is a Prime reason. Squeezepad is an extremely smooth way to operate your flac-based music system.
