"Uzu for iPad is endlessly complicated, simply fun." — Ars Technica
Uzu is a generative design playground — a math-physics-art toy for anyone who ever loved spirographs, fireworks, planetariums, lava lamps, light painting, kaleidoscopes, or graphing calculators. Touch the screen and watch thousands of particles swirl, spiral, and bloom in real time. Change the entire feel by simply changing how many fingers you use.
Relax. Play. Meditate. Create wallpapers. Or lose yourself for an hour tweaking symmetry, animation modes, and effects. Uzu is endlessly deep and simply fun.
Now completely rebuilt with a native Metal engine and a beautiful SwiftUI interface — smoother, richer, and more powerful than ever.
FEATURES • Fully dynamic generative particle system • 21 animation modes for each touch count (0 through 10) • Rotational, translational, and reflective symmetry • 122 factory presets plus unlimited user presets • 10 visual effects: Glow, Warp, Kaleidoscope, Sparkle, Feedback, Color, Gradient, Pixelate, Scanlines, and Vignette • Export and import presets — save, share, and back up your creations • Fast preset switching, shake to hide the menu, adjustable quality settings • Freeze mode, microphone reactivity, and thousands of possible combinations • Create stunning backgrounds for iPhone and iPad

all hail firelord Uzu
longtime user; missed the old presets. left a 1* review, developers swiftly put them back. look forward to playing with the new ones, too. as a thank you, I bought both of your other apps today.
My father always let me play this on his iPad when I was little. I just downloaded it again at 19 and it’s just as soothing as I remember
I put it to 5 stars so people can see they this is a really boring game I wish I can return it the game has different colors but their all the same movement.
This app is mesmerizing and goes to show how magical coding is
this app is totally worth the small price it asks for. The built in configurations are amazing and all expertly thought out, all of them feel responsive. The ability to create your own presets and experiment with all of the available features is awesome. There are an infinite number of combinations and it leads to never having two similar experiences. Unless of course you want to make similar concepts. I personally use this app to clear my head when I’m feeling anxious. It’s very stimulating and captivating. Definitely an easy way to pass 10-15 minutes.
I’ve loved this App for years but since getting the new IPad Pro 12.9 with the Mini Led screen it seems this App has gone to another level. The visuals are absolutely astonishing. I could watch it for hours and have 😀. Just brilliant.
