Staples

I have late model iPhone but find the app to be extremely slow to the point of I don’t want to bother. My first intention was to try a private message back to their support department but couldn’t find the right place to do so. Perhaps the app just needs an update but until then I’d recommend just using a browser and avoid this app.

This used to be a fantastic app. And Staples is probably still a great store. But this app has ceased to work. On every page except the homepage and code scan I get “Access denied.” There is no way to log in. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I tried the fix that someone suggested and shut off my Wi-Fi. It got worse. Staples has lost a longtime happy customer.

When on chat in the mobile app the box where you type disappears when typing. Forces me to get on desktop. Otherwise love the app and use it a lot.

DO NOT PURCHASE HP INK FROM STAPLES. <br/>Purchased ink on Saturday with next day delivery and as soon as the order was completed, next day delivery changed to Tuesday, 3 day delivery. BAIT AHD SWITCH. It is now Tuesday and UPS still has not received the package and is saying MAYBE Wednesday delivery<br/>I immediately ordered the same 2 ink cartridges on Amazon and they were delivered on Sunday for the exact same price.

Can’t even look up a store to shop in. I put a zip code in and it will not even show you the closest store(s) near you. Even when I select 100 miles. When I know there is at least 8 within 75 miles.

I tried to make a purchase on the app today, and I got caught in a death spiral where the program would not save my credit card information during checkout after three tries. I went to my profile and put it in, it seemed to accept my info. But I got another death spiral during check out, saying it didn’t have my security code number even though all they have it. I gave up after reentering my Card info 6 TIMES. I’ll buy from Amazon instead.

Overall the app is good. But I have a problem with the shopping cart. Put something in the cart and then deleted the items. My cart is empty. The app has been sending me daily notifications for over a month to check my cart, you forgot something. Very annoying bug when it clearly says the cart is empty. Had to shut off notifications.

It’s a terrible app, the keyboard lags and half the items I try to buy are not available. My rewards don’t show up half the time. I end up using the desktop version to get stuff because it lets me. Honestly feels like this is just staples jumping on the band wagon of harvesting personal data. 10 years too late. If you do down load this app, turn off tracking. Only positive is the weekly coupons but even then they aren’t really that great. I can’t even submit a print order, I have to use the website. This app needs a ton of work, like actually effort put into it.
