Find affordable medications for your patients, quickly and easily. Drug costs are the number one reason patients don't take needed medications. Generics is a free tool for physicians to address drug affordability by organizing drugs found in discount generics programs into a single app.

Generics lets clinicians quickly look up discount generics by drug name, drug class, or by pharmacy.

With Generics you can:

* See whether a particular generic is available at the patient's pharmacy.

* Verify whether the patient needs a 90 day script to get the discounted price.

* Check which drugs are available as discounted generics for a particular condition or drug class.

* Check which pharmacies have an annual fee to obtain discount pricing for their generic drug plan.

Currently includes these pharmacies: * CVS * Giant / Stop & Shop * Kmart * Rite Aid * Target * Walgreens * Walmart

This application was created by a fourth year medical student as a community health project and includes all the major national chains plus Stop & Shop (also called Giant in other parts of the country).
