WHEN SPEED IS NOT ENOUGH, THE CITY IS YOUR WEAPON

Inspired by the critically acclaimed video game from Disney Interactive Studios, and developed in conjunction with Black Rock Studios — Split/Second delivers action arcade racing on an epic scale.

Set in a TV city that is rigged to blow, you’ll trigger Power Plays to wreck opponents, open short cuts, and win the race.

Features • Includes three locations and nine tracks from the console game: Airport, Downtown, Port • Choose from three gameplay modes: Season Mode, Quick Play, or Multiplayer • Race in 15 incredibly specialized cars, each with different attributes. • Blast your friends in four person multiplayer — connect Online, Wi-Fi or Bluetooth

To win, you’ll need both speed and strategy because everything can change in a Split/Second!

Stay connected and check for updates coming soon. Split/Second will be periodically updated with new locations, vehicles and even more special features.

To install apps directly onto this device, it must be jailbroken with AppSync installed.

Worthless crap

I can't believe I spent $0.99 for this! Crappy graphics and few choices of cars. 0 stars if I could.

GREAT GAME! ADD MORE PLAYABLE CARS!

by Racing lover · March 29, 2012

It's about time you made a new update in Split/Second. For the next update, these cars should unlocked: Ryback Brawler (Yellow Car), Ryback Coyote (White Car), Ryback Firestorm (Red, Black, and White Car), Ryback Cyclone RS (Black Car), and Ryback Tornado (White and Blue Truck) (These are the cars driven by CPU players during races, but cannot be accesed by Human Players). Along with those cars, you should also update these cars: Cobretti Slipstream, Hanzo Bayonet R, Cobretti Cascade, and Ryback Titan. Maybe you should also update the Air Revenge mode. Please update these cars and race modes as soon as possible. Word of Advice: To unlock the 9 cars quicker, try making an update that you unlock a car for every 100 Season Mode points. The Elite Races must allow you to choose any car if that update occurs though. Tip: The Cobretti GT600 is one of the CPU cars and can now be accessed by Human Players.

Do not buy - unplayable

Controls are based on gyroscope and tilting ... Good luck steering this POS! Might have been fun with some normal controls

I don't like race games but this game is the best

Lost in Translation

by BigCurtain · May 15, 2012

Let me say first that I was blown away by the console version of this game. Game was gorgeous and It kept you on the edge of your seat... However the iOS version feels like a knock-off company tried to copy the game and did not do a good job. Seemed like "Ok we made a great game on the consoles... so someone here is 20 bucks... go make a mobile version." I know that is harsh but this is nothing like the console version. If the platform was taken seriously this could have been a good game. Yes the console version is way more expensive considering but I actually felt like I got my money's worth. As inexpensive as this game was... I wanted a refund. To the developer: the hardware is good enough to make some awesome games. Please take the time and effort to make use of it next go round.

Ad some normal controls!!!

The accelerometer controls are terrible and what of I wanted to play this on a bus? I'm not steering an iPod on the bus like a fool. The PSP version is great! This is garbage.
