Don't let this game fool you

by Coconutbutt211 · June 22, 2013

This is a new age game that makes fun of God & has an underlying theme of occultism. Of course, you don't find this out until after you purchase the game. If I had a way to get my money back I would, don't waste your time or your money!!

Really good game!

What is up with this so called game? I was playing the 1st chapter, when I up graded to the full game I was on the 1st chapter. Why is that, I feel like deleting the whole games. You need to fix this. Or fire all those who are responsible for this. Not happy.!!

Mushroom Age

I like this puzzle game. It is whimsical with some challenging puzzles. Luckily, there is a great Hint crutch! It is educational to a degree as the player ventures through different ages, but mostly, it is just a fun puzzle-adventure game.

I think the developers were on mushrooms...

Seriously, I think the developers were on psychedelic mushrooms when they created this. The game makes no sense at all and even shows the magic mushroom species in a scene. Which, actually could have been cool if the game wasn't so completely idiotic. The lead female actress is literally the WORST voice-over actress I have ever heard. The tone of her voice is pleasant which is probably why she was hired by the Russian developers but it's like she has no idea what she is saying. She emphasizes all the wrong words, but based on her lack of a foreign accent, it does seem that English is her first language, so she just comes off as really stupid or perhaps has brain damage... The other character actors seem to be purposely odd. There is a really strange sexual scene with Socrates who runs around naked and she gives him a massage and the sounds they make could be right out of a porno. I'm guessing this is supposed to be humorous, but a lot is lost in translation. The object finding is just boring and tedious and the game as a whole is a non-sensical mess. The wormhole transition scenes were visually cool, that's probably the only positive thing I have to say about this game.

what a waste

I'm sorry, but I have to give this game 2 stars. You have a combination of evolution, creationism and the main character talking to God, though He's not referred to as such, but its implied. And the mushrooms that are hypnotic, aka magic mushrooms. Then there are the endless puzzles. The talking dinosaur was about as useful as Jar Jar Binks was in Stars Wars. The dialogue was #@*&% annoying and the time tunnel travel, another waste of time. I got so bored with everything that I stopped at the end of chapter 18. I thought this was going to be an hidden object game, which 20% was and the rest, was wasted in dialogue, time tunnel travel and puzzles. WHAT A WASTE. Others may not feel as I do, but I was looking for a quality hidden object game and this one fell short for me.

For younger players

The age rating should indicate that the game is suitable for those four and under. A rip-off of a friendly talking dinosaur? Really? And if you are going to make a character that looks like Einstein why not just make him Einstein? And look, is that an egg! It is! OMG! There's another one! Let's make them a nest out of dead story lines...
