8 of 10Save your buck for something better. I finished this game in about an hour and twice it had me search for the exact same items. This is one of the worst HO games I've ever played.
Pointless, dumb, 'Where's Waldo"-type game, but dopey and buggy. Hate to post a bad review, but this Ripper game is a rip-OFF.
This game was so short I thought maybe I lost... Very nicely done but took me 20 min to finish. The ending was abrupt and bizarre. Great potential and story idea, but completely unreasonable price for such a short game. (I paid $3) Maybe the French developers are comparing euro to the dollar, but at this price don't buy. At .99 it would have gotten 3 stars. I love hidden object Adventure games and support developers who create them. I have enjoyed many games from this developer, but this one really lacks content. Please update!!! I am happy to pay 3$ for HDO, and would immediately change my rating if content were added.
The game was ok at best. It was absolutely too short for the money I paid. It was not challenging at all. Don't waste your money!
If you've played other HdO games by Anuman then you'll like this one as much as any of their others. The bad reviews posted, particularly the rant by "Unhappy seeker" (the name says it ALL!!!) are blown WAY out of proportion! And NO, I'm NOT associated with the dev in any way shape or form. I've played all of the other Anuman games and being desperate for a new HdO decided to give this one a chance despite the reviews. I liked it. It's not any shorter than any of their other games. There's a few remember type questions but they're easy. If you get 'em wrong, it just extends the game a bit. SO WHAT!?!?!?! There's one scene where you have to remember where some graffiti is but it's actually not so much of a memory thing as it is a search and find type thing. In that scene you can click a hundred times in a row without the screen darkening penalty. I'd recommend this if you like Anuman's other HdO games. IT'S ABOUT THE APP NOT YOU
I played through this 3 times just to be sure, and discovered there is a bug at the point when the police officer asks you the name of the building. It clearly says at the top, (***SPOILER ALLERT***), "KEARLEY & TONGE". I select that every time, and STILL the officer tells me I'm wrong and throws me in jail for 30 days. This leads to Jack eventually killing me before I can finish the entire game! Please fix this! :'(
I'm not sure what the problem is but once I found an object and tapped it, it took away a hint instead of recognizing it as being found. Also it would only zoom in to the same fixed spot and would not move around. I wouldn't recommend buying this game instead spend a couple extra bucks for one that works properly.
This game was way too short for the price. I was finished in less than an hour! All my other $3 games last me most of a weekend. The "rebuild an old camera" level was just annoying.
