Poorly executed

I have a large gallery of MPO files that I want to be able to show people. This is not the app to do it. MPO files must be imported one-by-one as email attachments (why can't I import through iTunes?), and even then they can't be viewed full screen.

No camera?

$4 and there is no camera support? I don't understand.

Very cool

Easy and fun

Best Out There, but Needs More Features

by iPadiMac · October 12, 2010

This is the most user friendly App out there for both iPad and Mac, but it could do with a few features such as an improved way to share, catalog, and view the files. More export options such as Dropbox, MobileMe, Flickr, Picassa, and Shutterfly are needed. We need the ability to group and catalog the unfinished and finished images in application. Finally, the App really needs a couple of slideshow modes for viewing the finished products.

Two separate purchases

If you want this app on your iPhone & your iPad, you will be paying for them separately, otherwise I would rate this app 4 stars.

Needs direct .mpo import

by Yoyodyne Industries · September 4, 2011

The only thing keeping me from giving this app 5 stars is its lack of support for importing .mpo files directly from the Fuji W3 3D camera to the iPad. Yes, you can transfer .mpo files to a mac and then email them to your iPad, but that workflow is useless when you are on the road without a computer and armed with just a 3d camera and an iPad.

Excellent

There are two modes that don't require glasses: wiggle-gram (not true 3D), and cross-eyed viewing. The cross-eyed mode works beautifully, as do the colored-glasses modes. I've had a lot of fun with this app.

The people complaining that you need glasses are half-wits. Software is not magic. It can not imbue the screen with fantastical 3D abilities it didn't already have. Pair and glasses are the best the iPad can do, and this app does them well.

If a genie could grant me two wishes, they would be live access to the iPad 2 camera, so I can actually set up pics within the app ( crummy resolution, I know ), and a better gallery-type mode, where end-results can be flipped through in full-screen, without having to pull up a pane to choose the next set.

Thanks for the quail app!

3D Camera Studio

Great app. As an avid fan of the Fuji W3 stereo camera with it's fixed stereo base, I love the idea of using Cha-cha method of changing the amount of shift. What we now is some kind of a support to hold the iPad from tilting between the exposure of the left and right shots.
