Looking for the ultimate in racing excitement? Climb into one of these ten killer machines and get your adrenalin pumping. Choose your level of difficulty, crank the music and start gunning the gas. The flag is up, so keep a steely eye out, it’s coming down….now! Click “…More” to learn why you should download this App today.

You love car racing. The sound of powerful engines, the smell of hot rubber and the excitement of competition sets your heart pounding. You easily imagine yourself behind the wheel of one of those amazing cars, driving at breakneck speeds around that track. With almost no effort, you slide past the other racers and handle the bank with ease. You’re really good.

If racing gives you thrills and chills, Racing Mania is what you need. This app lets you climb behind the wheel and try the sport yourself. Think lightning fast micro machines with an arcade twist to get the idea of what you’re in for. You can select from ten different cool car models. They may be two dimensional on the screen but each one has been designed from 3D models, for detail and accuracy. Pick your favorite and see how you do against the other nine.

Racing Mania is giving you the opportunity for a totally customized racing experience. Not only do you get to choose your vehicle but you can decide which track you’re going to run, as well. Do you want to try your luck on a city track at night? Maybe you’re feeling adventurous enough to take on a dirt track or futuristic route. Stick with one or play all 15 tracks. It’s a great way to test and build your driving skills.

While you’re concentrating hard on keeping control of the car as it travels at insane demon speeds, the app helps you keep your focus and momentum with some great background tunes. Each track has its own and they’ve all been created by an experienced race app music composer, so you know these rock and metal tunes are really going to get your mojo revved.

There are three difficulty levels in Racing Mania but you have to finish normal before you can hit that track hard and race with the big boys. Learn to control your car and safely manage those curves to improve your technique and style. Keep practicing and you’ll get there.

At the end of a race, you may want to buy products that can help you. Pick up speed, acceleration and repairs at the shop to keep your vehicle in top condition and in the race.

Racers with Bluetooth technology will be delighted to know that they can enjoy a multiplayer competition. Grab three other people and see whose boasting of being the best driver is really true.

Features: * 15 challenging tracks – 5 each, dig-up, city and futuristic * 15 soundtracks, all expertly composed by Simone Cicconi * Choice of 10 micro vehicles modeled after 3D renderings * 3 levels of difficulty * Shop is available at the end of each race * Bluetooth enabled for multiplayer races * Extreme fun, excitement and challenge * 3 different choice of car controls

You already know that you have to have this download. Before you speed off, remember the Racing Mania developer’s advice. Practice the curves and how your control the car. Those things will help increase your chances for the win. Good luck and have fun!

Great start, but needs work

by NeoRiley · August 12, 2010

Has a lot of promise and potential - I love the style of it. The controls are frustrating, however, and you get stuck on the sides of the road very easily. Turning with the steering wheel was terrible and inconsistent. Turning with the arrows seemed to be the most consistent way to drive. If the developer could use a collision method that allowed for objects to have an icy friction state with the obstacles, that would make this game alot more fun. As it is, you get punished for the slightest wrong turn. It should be that you're slowed by hitting the sides, but not completely stopped and stuck. I nearly threw my iPad across the room in frustration while loosing my lead in the race because of a corner I was stuck on. Just a suggestion but if you're using colliders in a traditional sense, change to a sphere collider, change your material's friction level to that if "ice" ( not alot of friction ) and I think it'll be much more enjoyable. Fix those issues, and I'll change my rating for sure. I look forward to your next update, as I loved the old iron man truck arcade game like this back in the late 80's - very cool

Feels unfinished

by Jayson Elliot · June 27, 2010

Great idea, top-down racing games like Sprint are a blast. This feels like they released an early alpha version, though. The controls are terrible no matter which version you use. The cars often get "tangled" so they just sit and shudder. The car often veers sideways unpredictably, and reverse barely works, so one instance equals lost race. If you don't cross the finish line in the right part of the checkered line, the lap doesn't count, making you go back and do it again. No money for upgrades is awarded for winning. You only get money by running over coins, whether you win or lose. The coins themselves are very sensitive, and can only be picked up with a pixel-perfect hit. The sound sometimes gets stuck in a loop, playing multiple songs at once, so you have to restart to stop the cacophony. Zooming is done with a pinch, which means you have to stop racing to do it, and the game zooms you back out again anyway. Add in the spelling errors and half-finished graphics, and you wonder how they thought this was ready to go on sale. Save your money, it's not worth it.

WHAT A PIECE OF JUNK!!!

This app may look cool from the title cover, but don't let that trick you because it is horrible. The car doesn't steer with any type of steering. The graphics are worse than the first video game ever made. It is just flat out a horrible game. Nothing is good. Oh and if the maker of this wants to get people to buy this make it $0.99 or free.

Crashes...

Crashes every time I launch. How do I get refund?

Not enjoyable at all

by The Morgan Dollar · July 27, 2010

The game is not enjoyable. Too small to view, and the movement is way too sensitive, even though you can "change" the sensitivity. Bought it for kids, and its just not useable by them. Pass on this game.

Update needs an update.....

by AllenGall · July 10, 2010

This game has suddenly become unplayable as of the last update. The new game physics are welcome, but now I can finish no better than 7th place even on easy mode. I'm all for making the game more challenging (it was a bit too easy before the update), but unwinnable races are making this one hard to stick with.

Finally is out
