8 of 25Great application for children between 18-36 months. Simple, entertaining and educational. Also great introduction to touch technology.
Bert's Bag is for iPhone, and not iPad, but nevertheless it is a fun counting game to use for Moms on the go. Bert's paper bags, filled with all sorts of his goodies' collections is up for inventory, and it is up to you to help out. It is fun to see what Bert has next to count, and this well done app is great for learning one to one correspondence and basic app skills of targeting, dragging and dropping. I do wish this could be available for iPad play as well. This game can be extended to real life play to reinforce learning to count. It would be fun to collect items for your own "Bert's Bag". Recommended.
Game is repetitive with no challenges. My 3year old was bored very quickly. IMHO app should have been free. Not worth the cost.
This is a great app for toddlers! My son loves it and the counting of items really helps reinforce the abstract concept of numbers. The swipes and shakes (and Bert too of course) make it fun and engaging. Perfect app for a little one!
Our 18 month old really enjoys counting with Bert. The app is fun, cheerful, and educational. Thanks!
My 20 month old son LOVES this game! He thinks Burt is awesome and is not only learning his numbers but is really starting to count correctly! I am so happy we got this app!
Should have listened to other reviewers- this app seems overpriced. My 3 year old counted everything in Bert's bag in about 5 minutes. We much prefer Elmo's Monster Maker app - it has a lot more options of things to do.
There is nothing here that couldn't have been programmed in an afternoon. Why is it so expensive? Well I suppose it's expensive because the demand is high, but it is unwise for Sesame Street to gain a reputation for overcharging this early in what will soon be a goldmine market. This app is just about perfect except that I feel there should have been more than one single 10 second piece of video which is played over and over between rounds. I got sick of it first, and then shortly thereafter my 2.5 year old got sick of it. The experience is meant to be fairly disposable, of course. There is only so much wisdom/delight to be gleaned from endlessly counting small amounts of random objects, and so the price of the app needs to reflect that. Why is Sesame Street purposefully alienating parents by dipping into our diaper fund a little deeper than they oughta?
