8 of 25Why get an audible subscription when you have OverDrive and a local library? Why buy a kindle? Why buy books ever?

This app saves so much time and money!!!
I’ve always had trouble maneuvering through Overdrive, but can usually, eventually manage to get where I need to go. However I like to listen to ebooks using ‘speak screen’ and while Overdrive does read the chapter, it doesn’t turn the pages, and it only reads one chapter at a time. You have to manually page to the end of the chapter and restart the reading at the beginning of the next chapter, which is inconvenient if you’re busy with something else. I try to avoid using Overdrive when I have other choices.
Super clunky and slow, plus doesn’t just let me move it over to iBooks even though it’s a ePub file.
For a free resource, this app is excellent! It is much improved from its predecessor RB Digital. I only use it for audiobooks, and the quality and clarity of the app is fantastic. I recommended the app to my friends and family, and have used it every day since downloading it.
I listen to audiobooks on my phone and use the Mac software to put audiobooks on my iPod nano. I prefer to listen on my nano because it is so small.
Tried Libby. Didn’t like it. Not as intuitive nor versatile as Overdrive.
Will not switch unless I have to and then I’ll look for an alternative.
I love overdrive. Use it with Libby
This app is so good!
