8 of 25Back button needs to be fixed, and it needs a mode to increase text size or a reader mode like Safari.
AdBlock Web does not need to be more sophisticated, bloated or loaded with features that would turn it into another Chrome Clone. If that's what you're looking for, then all the other attempts to be all things to all people will be more to your liking. Only a fool would think everyone in the world feels the need to be outfitted with the latest fad running the most recent OS. The vast majority have gotten by just fine on iOS 7 or older devices. That is, until a year ago when commercial advertising exponentially took over the internet making OS 7 iPhones and OS 6 iPods crash within 30 seconds of opening any web page. I haven't tried the OS8 version of AdBlock Web yet, so I can't speak for that, but the last version is the only browser that's allowed me to visit any web page and read every article free of cancer-like ads that compete to destroy the very thing they rely on. I hope the developers avoid the unnecessary add-on and improvement traps that have ruined other great programs. Stay true to your vision... At least until my iPhone 6 arrives.
It used to work. Now links don't open. Videos don't play. Useless.
My only complaint is its slow to load videos and gives and error about plugin load or such but the video still plays.
Horray
Only used a few times. But works well. It DOES block ads :) though it Crashed after i failed to log into a site twice in a row.
The browser has sped up the loading of forums I visit by blocking those annoying, resource-hogging hover ads: No more floating "click to close" boxes or redirects. A word of caution! Entries you make double post consistently: I would not use this for paying bills or shopping because of this.
This App's description says it is not compatible with the iPad. So why is it coming up on my iPad updates? What was its prior name?
