Report an issueNear the town of Dead Hawg, past the Grimwood, at the very PEAK of Mount Awful, there stands a crumbling tower of mortar and stone.
Deep within this foul edifice, the blackest necromancer of modern times, Solomon Dark, sits on his horrible throne.
As a near graduate of the Wizarding College, your final exam is to storm Solomon's Keep. Dispatch the dark wizard, loot his evil possessions, unbind his horrific minions, and prove to your teachers once and for all that you're not as stupid as you look.
----
In Solomon's Keep, you move your wizard with one thumb, and fire magic spells with the other. As you destroy enemies, you earn experience points. Gain enough experience, and you'll gain a level, and can select new skills to help you ascend the tower.
Along the way you'll find gold and magic items. Your helpful teachers are there to explain the ins and outs of wizarding, sell you a few useful items, and even give you a few tips to improve your skills.
Along the way you'll encounter Solomon's skeletons, zombies, imps, and more. You might even encounter an undead king, and Solomon's meticulously reconstructed maggot vomiting skeletal dragon.
You'll have a chance to master 21 skills and wield over 50 magic, rare, and epic weapons.
With random dungeons and monsters, Solomon's Keep offers infinite replayability. It's never the same game twice!
If you're fond of action RPGs, Solomon's Keep will satisfy your black heart.

8 of 25Update many years later: Solomon’s Keep holds up well. I just played through in 2021 and am still pleased with the game. -=-=-=-=-=-=- Solomon's Keep is a fine RPG. Not the best one for the iOS I've ever played, but it's still fun. It's a bit limited, though. It's weak on plot, you can only choose from one character, and all your attacks are magical ranged weapons, but it's still a fun game. The graphics are quite good, even when blown up on my tablet, and the shapes of the levels are randomly generated so you can play through multiple times. I've spent quite a few hours playing this game, going through it twice. If you're looking for an inexpensive iOS RPG, you probably won't be disappointed by this one.
Tl;dr: easy controls, auto-mute ads, good game. I’ve beaten and returned to SK multiple times, let me explain why. It’s a twin stick wizard blasting game. You fight hordes of undead with your growing magic as you fight to stop Solomon. The core idea is simple, controls are easy, and it’s never hard to grasp how you control your power. Solomon keeps expanding his forces, as do you. Both your play style and enemies will evolve as you level up and clear floors. Powerful items will shape how you cover your weaknesses or amplify your strengths. New foes will keep you on your feet, and SK moves fast enough to never feel stale. SK is not an ad-blasting “mobile” game. In any game I have never seen one so friendly with its ads. Most games will have ultra loud ads at every opportunity. SK’s own music is way louder than any ad… because they automatically mute all of them for you. Tried amping volume to max during one, nothing. When Wi-Fi is off, SK does still have ads. But these are for their other games and have an X visible from the start, very unobtrusive. On top of all that, SK doesn’t ask for payment. It’s just a fun little game from the old days. Overall, SK is a blast, a perfect little game to fit on your phone. It’d fair well on anything, though, from Xbox to PC. It’s no “mobile game”, but a piece of tech just waiting to jive you joy. To the devs, good work on making a beautiful game and keeping it beautiful!
The combat in this game is fun and enjoyable, but it’s obscene that you have to walk back through literally the entire game to visit the shop and buy items, which is the only way to acquire new staffs and rings. I agree that the movement gets a bit repetitive.
I love this game and it would be better if it had controller support
I’ve played this game again and again. Every couple of years I download it and play it again. Great fun. Well designed.
Played this game when the iPhone 3G was barely coming out. Finally found it again. Can’t wait to see my childhood memories flash back 🤍🎉
This is honestly a very good game. I have played it a lot! The only downside is that it turned into an ad machine. It never used to be this bad, but now there is an ad every screen move. I had 2 before even leaving the starting area to get into the game. It’s a shame to see the game fall this much. If the ads were a little more spaced out (maybe every other floor or so), I would easily restore the 5-star rating. (Solomon’s boneyard is also a solid game if you like this one!) I get making money, but maybe let my length of playtime be your moneymaker instead of forcing so many ads. That is just my opinion.
I’m receiving back to back 15 plus seconds ads, I already bought the app why do I have ads
