Good but buggy

As a stand alone app this does the job, but when you try to use the remote on the iPhone or the air turn foot switch you start seeing problems. <br/><br/>The app crashes a lot on me now that I've tried to implement the foot switch. The app doesn't respond to the switch after 1 use. I have to restart the app each time. Very frustrating.

Caution - Screen burn!

Good telepromter except that if you forget to turn off the app you may end up burning your script into your screen. Finished a shoot today with the script paused, packed up my gear and realized hours later the app was still on and overriding the iPad's sleep function. The ipad was very hot and now the text is burned into my screen. Very unhappy about this.

Excellent and easy to use.

I have never spent this much money on an app. I am really happy I did. I have a big speech coming up and decided to jump off the cliff. What is really great about this app is it is such a great rehearsal tool. Moving content into it is a breeze.

Nice App!

I'm a big fan of this app. Saves us on production time and makes it incredibly easy for talent to get through the script with a minimal amount of takes. <br/><br/>I use my iPhone 5 with the Remote+ app to start/stop and control the speed of the teleprompter which makes it easier for me when I'm behind the camera.

It Used to Work

It was actually a decent piece of software prior to it’s current version. BBI broke the app when they updated it. Rendering my $15 a complete waste of money! Good job guys! It not only wasted $15. It screwed a production shoot costing me A LOT MORE than $15<br/><br/>How hard is it to code a good piece of tele prompting software?

Highly recommended

I installed one free Teleprompter app, that didnt do well. Ten I bought one for $2. It was ok, but I was still looking. I bought another one for $2. It was ok too. Then I decided to bite the bullet and pay a little more for this one. This one looks to have everything anyone needs. Worth the money in my opinion.

Consistently buggy.

I regularly struggle with the speed settings, which seem to jump arbitrarily between starting and stopping the script, and pressing record for the audio. It's frustrating for me, and for the speakers (usually executives) who don't understand why I can't get the speed right. <br/><br/>Frequently, I'll set a speed and then go back to tweak it. When I tap it to edit, the scroll wheel shows a much slower speed than what I'd previously selected. It doesn't make any sense - and it happens almost every time.<br/><br/>Most recently, I will set a speed, start the script, and then hit the microphone icon to begin recording audio. As soon as I touch that mic button, a tiny picture of a turtle appears in a corner of the screen for a split second and then goes away. The script slows instantly. What is going on? <br/><br/>Major headaches. 2 stars, because if it weren't for the struggle, I would be a big fan.
