No Flash

Sure, it looks cool... That's it. Don't waste the $0.99.

I deleted it

by HaggertyRD · April 18, 2010

I paid for it and then after 10 minutes I deleted it ... enough said.

(No need to "shout" ... I wasn't looking for "Opera" - just a tabbed browser)

DO NOT BE FOOLED

This Is not the OPERA MINI BROWSER! it my be called Mini and it may come up when you search for OPERA but it is not. Otherwise it's your .99... Knock yourself out...

Other Browsers Are Better

by Allen's iPhone Account · April 7, 2010

This browser may be OK for the iPad-I haven't tried it on that platform-but for the iPhone/iPod Touch there are several other full screen browsers that have many more features. I bought it, I tried it, I removed it.

fooled

I too was fooled with this App. It is NOT the official Opera browser. It does work, and is OK, but -2 stars for the deception.

Good potential

This could be great, but there are a few blaring issues, hopefully they will be dealt with in future updates.

1. Poor JavaScript support, some pages cannot load completely
2. Horrible icon design makes it unattractive and a little irritating to look at
3. U is great! Very unique and innovative
4. Crashes too often

Obviously 1 & 4 are the most important, but it's a good start. I will up my rating as things improve.

Pretty Sweet Full Screen

by Mini-Fab · April 4, 2010

I think that this app is pretty sweet, but it is missing a way to open links in the current tab into a new tab. You have to open the tab and then navigate from there. That one concern aside, the full screen view gives much more screen real-estate for browsing. The controls are slick, well designed and thought out. My first paid iPad app. A winner ;-)
