8 of 9With the zoom enabled in all scenes it's possible to find objects. The wine cellar wasn't so hard with zoom and the realization that the white wine had two distinctions. After that the humor "oh look honey, one of my body parts" became fun. No doubt you'll need the hints from time to time but I had four left at the end. Up until now I didn't like any of their games. I bought them on sale out of curiosity. I now think that all their games can be good if given updates that improve visibility and add a little more game time.
This game is a very fun game. Yes some of the pictures are hard to see but that's what makes it challenging. It will take about 2 to 3 hours to play through. If you like hidden picture games than I would recommend this game to you.
This game is difficult to see, even at brightest IPad setting, and hidden pictures are very difficult to ID, even when you can see them. I play many hidden picture games on my PC, and even the ones with bad graphics are better than this. The picture itself is clear on the IPad, but identifying hidden items is very difficult, as even when an item is 'on top' and visible, I was unsure if it was what I needed, except for a few items. In the second section you have to fine 20 bottles of white wine in a cellar. There are many bottles, but no way to tell white or red, so you just have to touch each one... Boring, and although I thought I touched them all, I still have 14 left to find, so I have to just keep on. I barely got into this game, and I already think I want to remove it from my IPAD. Don't waste your money. Dina
Out of all gamelofts hidden objects this one is the best. It was worth $5. The hollywood one is pretty good too, just quicker to complete.
Don't waste your money, screen doesn't turn, and you can't find the hidden objects, bad quality......
Bad enough that nothing in the first part looked like anything... I ended up getting lucky by tapping on things that looked like they should have been something, but I never did get how one was a hat and some were pieces of a vase - they all just looked like weird dark shapes. I stopped playing when I got to the wine cellar. I don't drink and I had no idea wine was distinguishable by something to do with the bottle, and every time I thought I had narrowed it down to a certain characteristic I turned out to be wrong. I got tired of red-screening. The game isn't fun. Two stars because the graphics were decent and I wasn't asked for my name on startup; also nice to see a hidden object game (or ANY game from Gameloft) that doesn't take up half a gig of space. Too bad it's unplayable, I can't imagine having literally nothing better to do than keep tapping on every single one of those bottles and dealing with the red-screening until it's finished. Kudos or condolences to those who suffered through.
This would be 5 stars if they added some puzzles. First of all, I shouldn't have to set my screen brightness to maximum (and eat battery power) to play. They should just use Photoshop to adjust the histograms of their images. The game is actually a pretty tongue in cheek homage to rocky horror as well as Frankenstein movies, you have to collect Janet's body parts and then build a machine to reassemble her. You may have to return to one location more than once. The screens are fairly well designed rather than random collections of backgrounds and objects. The game designers clearly don't speak American English so you have to realize their words for some of the objects don't describe the object you have to find. Americans don't use spanners and we don't use the word tub to describe a gas can.
Tedious and pretty pointless. I enjoy games like this and did not enjoy this one at all. Art is good, music is annoying and repetitive.
