Great use of iPad features

by GBMINI · April 3, 2010

So far, nice graphics and easy control. I'd like to be able to scroll around the game area to see what's coming, but the game seems to do it itself sometimes.<br/>A nice first iPad game for me :)

Perfect for casual gamers!

I generally play games on my iPad or my iPhone to relax after work, and as such I tend to avoid stressing games with timers, loads of &quot;opponents&quot;, etc. Those games I play on a console or my computer.<br/><br/>As such I prefer board- and strategy games for my portable devices. And just like Toki Tori on the iPhone, this one fits the bill perfectly for the iPad.<br/><br/>Nice, albeit not great, graphics, soothing and familiar (for anyone who's seen the movies) soundtrack, solid control schemes, and a moderately tricky puzzle here and there.<br/><br/>If you liked Toki Tori on the iPhone/iPod Touch, you'll like this one as well.<br/><br/>Recommended!!

What's the difference?

I bought the deluxe version thinking it was an upgraded version (i.e. more levels) of the app I already have. Wrong. Same everything. Complete waste of money.

My favorite iPad game

by Zaphoda · March 14, 2011

This is an excellent game, starting out easy while you learn, and getting harder as you progress through the levels.<br/><br/>It looks like a kid's game, but it's harder than it looks. the later levels are challenging for all ages. The first time through, I didn't get all the acorns, but I went back later to get them, and that opened up an expert level.<br/><br/>My only regret is that I'm now finished. I hope you will develop more levels, or release Ice Age II.

Ready for the next one!

The is a great game here! I thought that I was getting it for the kids, but I'm the one that ended up playing it! Fun and easy to get you going, then some pretty tricky problem solving sections later in the game. Good graphics, easy gameplay, excellent production. A+ game. I'm ready for the next one guys!

Really Entertaining...Great for the 4 Year Old, Too

by Tim Turnip · April 10, 2010

The graphics are really great, and the gameplay is well done for the iPad. My four year old has actually been playing it for half a day now. <br/><br/>I'm very impressed. This is the first iPad game we've had that was really WORTH it.

Am I stoopid?

by Ing122 · November 5, 2011

Just bought this game yesterday and thought it was going to be fun. Got through level one and am now stuck on level 2 and can't get any further. No acorns and just the same path over and over with no where new to go. Is this normal or am I just stoopid? All other levels are locked so guess I am stuck unless a newer update might help. :-(<br/>P.S.<br/>I think I am still stoopid when it comes to this game but at least I have now progressed to the Cold Cave. Totally stuck now on level 4 there. I would gladly pay for an app that shows how to get through this game. Hint hint !

Fun, Fun, Fun,

Great fun while testing your problem solving skills at the same time. Some of the levels were more difficult than others but at least you knew there was a logical solution, you just have to figure out the correct sequence of moves. I will definitely play this again to collect the acorns I missed the first time around.
