170,000+ Recipes and Grocery List - BigOven Pro

This is my go-to cooking app! I added some of my personal family favorite recipes and it's great to have them on hand for shopping and/or sharing. I love the recipe reviews and it looks so beautiful on my iPad ... not so shabby on the iPhone either!<br/><br/>Customer service is the best! I had a little issue on the first version and they responded to my email and updated the app, fixing the problem almost immediately.<br/><br/>Tons of features, tons of recipes ... Love it!

I absolutely loved this app but now it is crashing. Please fix ASAP! <br/>I am waiting to give this more stars as soon as it is fixed. 12/12/11<br/>Dec 16, 2010 Please don't steal my money!!! The &quot;free&quot; membership would be at least some effort to make this right but now Pro app won't even open. So, how do I get my membership?

This app will not open anymore - it's useless!

I think that BigOven Pro is the ideal app for use in the kitchen. It is a good way to find recipes and the grocery list is handy. I do wish that I could do meal planning with this app.

BigOven is hands-down my favorite cooking app because...<br/><br/>I use BigOven on my iPad in my kitchen every night while cooking dinner. The iPad takes much less room on counters than a laptop, and I never worry about spilling on a keyboard. BigOven's app is optimized for the iPad screen, so I can easily see all ingredients and instructions at once without scrolling. This is ideal since my hands are usually messy while cooking and I'd hate to touch my screen. Most other cooking apps are not well optimized for the screen and are much more frustrating to use.<br/><br/>I've used BigOven for years and have hundreds of favorite recipes that I now can use on my iPad. I LOVE that the app makes my recipes far more portable and better organized than large bookmarked cookbooks or cuttings from magazines. It's also awesome that favorites synch between iPad, iPhone and the website. <br/><br/>The app looks and feels like a glossy cookbook, so it's easy and fun to flip through to find new recipes from thousands added by other users. The leftover wizard is awesome when I have a craving or some ingredients I want to use.<br/><br/>The app lets you create grocery lists too, but I still use the BigOven destop software to create grocery lists from weekly meal plans. I also add new recipes through the desktop app, but hope someday these features will be in the iPad app too!<br/><br/>Thank you BigOven for making cooking so much easier!

Crashes. I just spent 10 bucks and can't get this to work at all. What a waste. I wish I could give it a negative 5 stars.

You have to get this app if you love cooking, recipe hunting, etc. It is gorgeous and there has been a lot of attention to detail. I love using this app. Must get!!
