Report an issue✭ Your own personal, daily newspaper is ready for delivery! ✭ The Early Edition takes the news sources that you enjoy (via their RSS feeds) and presents their content in a format which is familiar, stylish and intuitive.
You can import feeds from Google Reader or OPML file, discover feed URLs by entering web links and even categorize your news feeds into sections, just like a traditional newspaper!
Each time you collect news, articles from your source list are collected and assembled into a daily edition and stored in Archives for later reference.
With The Early Edition you can skim through pages of article teasers or tap a headline to view the article in full screen. And if you want to share a story, the action button provides a host of options like Twitter, Facebook, Instapaper, Read It Later, Delicious and Email.
If you're someone who checks the news throughout the day, tapping the Fetch button will collect new stories since your last fetch and add them to the front of the paper. Or a long tap on a single feed or section will do an isolated fetch to save you some time.
You can filter articles in a number of ways, including: ✭ Last fetch ✭ Today ✭ All dates ✭ Previous editions
The Early Edition really takes advantage of the unique platform that the iPad provides and seamlessly combines what's great about print with what's great about the web.

You can't argue with this one: No other app offers a streamline ability to deliver the news stories from your favorite areas of the news world like the Early Edition. Literally as easy as waking up and opening the app.....Hello world, let me read about you!
Fix this stupid app... Keeps saying I have no feeds, but I do... And please add an iPhone version! there is no other app like this for the iPad... Would be nice to also have an iPhone version to blow away all the other competitors! :-]
This app is one of the most innovative methods for displaying feeds I've ever seen, but without true offline support for images cached so I can see them when there is no WiFi it's useless. I can use services to get the full text of a feed but I cannot cache images unless the app allows for it, and without images the illusion of a newspaper falls apart. If I could I'd be returning this to get my money back and looking elsewhere for a truly offline reader, because this ain't it. Too bad cause this really had potential.
This app does not give me full news, won't render all photos in the articles. Most times clicking on article to read more will produce an incomplete article and you alway have to hit the button to read online, defeats the purpose of the app. There are better one out there cheaper and I have some free one that are better also. My hunch is that this is a foreign app that works here also, but not as it should. App store should really separate the store by regions, I'm tired of clicking on app that are from other countries. Some are confusing so we buy them and waist our money.
This is by far the best app I own. I use it 5+ times daily. It organizes all my news into one source A++
