After speaking with the developer about this app and shredit HD I'm restoring my original positive review. It is a good app, much more professional and polished than other secure deletion apps, and the developer behind it is easy to deal with. ----- This app deletes previously deleted files to the point where they cannot be recovered. This is useful if you use any of those photo encryption apps that require you to do an insecure delete of the original photo. Also, the iPhone/iPod takes numerous screen shots to provide that cool transition effect, if you do not securely delete them then they can be recovered. This could expose your browsing history or viewed images. So all in all, this is a good app to run every few weeks to secure your device and remove clutter.
