Archived Reviews
8 of 25The app constantly spams your phone with alerts. When you click to read one it gives no preview and gives you a sales pitch to subscribe. Don’t use unless you already subscribe
Your reporting is bias in almost every section. It’s also obvious that most of your writers are not islanders. I don’t read your paper any more. I instead only scan for articles that may affect my business. It’s a shame. It was at one time a gold standard.
It just gets more annoying. An example… why, each morning, does the app insist on reloading to the current day’s paper rather than keeping the edition I was in the middle of reading?!
Bad customer service
May force this retiree to cancel an already barebones once a week subscription
This app tries to take over your whole phone. They try to push videos on users. Many times I will try to browse apps while listening to the radio. The Newsday app does not allow that. The audio is shut down by y to his app. Makes me look at Newsday less than I would otherwise.
not up to date
we enjoy being able to keep abreast of issues on the islands, get exasperated at the local government ( don’t get me started on Blakeman! Ugh!!)
