8 of 32I have used the app on and off literally since I started playing guitar at the age of 13( I’m 25 now). I bought, meaning one-time PURCHASED access to the app a long time ago. <br/><br/>Without fail every single time I open the app they try to get me to subscribe to “new features” and things I will never use. <br/><br/>I open the app today to find I can no longer use auto scroll, transpose songs, or virtually the only 2-3 tools that make this app worth using without subscribing. Excuse my understanding but why in the world would I pay for features that USED to be FREE. Deleted immediately and you’ve lost a 12 year member, congrats!!!
I used to be able to let the tabs scroll. Now it doesn’t and it only has a play function that sucks. Please fix this. Waste of money otherwise
Too many glitches and bugs to be good. Decent app as far as learning certain songs go, but the “shots” feature of the app is never consistently working. Expect to be kicked out of the app frequently while using it for literally anything. The moderators and creators of the app have gotten plenty of feedback for their constant glitches but it seems they have done nothing to fix them.

I love the tabs and chords feature but I rarely use the tabs for only one reason; there are no chords notated in the tabs. This makes playing along with the song very difficult. It’s hard to find a reference point. I’m from the old school that learned to play with tabs that not only had tabs but the words and chords too. <br/> That’s about my only complaint about Ultimate Guitar. I use it with my band and we use it for practice with the band tracks. You do a really good job and it beats the hell out of playing with YouTube. Keep up the good work ! 🎸
I’ve used Ultimate Guitar for over 7 years - and they recently dinged me my yearly membership fee of 79.99 - and now when I log into use the app, it’s prompting me to sign up for a new plan. Very frustrating as a long time user
You absolutely ruined a perfectly fine app, why do i have to click to “learn a new instrument” before I do anything? I pay for premium. I just want to play guitar for my daughter not fill out a questionnaire. You’re trying too much with every feature in this app, its not basic and easy anymore.
Every time I open the app I have to go through personalization questions and then it ask me to buy the subscription. I paid for the lifetime membership back when it was available and they took all my benefits away except for no ads. <br/><br/>Edit:<br/>Actually they took away my no ads also. I’m not sure what I got for my money then…
