After enter OTP code it’s stuck…
Still can’t get logged in.
Can't even login to an airplane app. That's all you need to know. Fly elsewhere.
I really appreciate that Alaska Airlines offers free checked bags for active duty military members—it’s a great benefit and one of the reasons I enjoy flying Alaska.
Unfortunately, the app doesn’t make it easy to take advantage of that benefit. When adding checked bags, there’s no option to identify yourself as an active duty service member like there is in the United Airlines app. At the airport, the agent told me I could add my DoD ID to my profile so the system would recognize my military status. The problem is that our reservations and Mileage Plan account are under my wife’s name. While the app allows individual Known Traveler Numbers (KTNs) for each traveler, there doesn’t appear to be a way to associate my DoD ID with my profile.
I also tried creating my own Mileage Plan account, but the system says I already have one. When I use the “Having trouble logging in?” option, the password reset instructions are sent to my wife’s email address instead of mine, which makes the whole situation even more confusing.
Overall, the app is missing functionality that would make things much easier for military travelers and families traveling together. I hope Alaska adds support for individual military status within reservations and improves account management. The airline itself has been great, but the app still has room for improvement.
App is biased to who it allows to log in. When you can’t log in with, it will say “we can’t log you in right now” with no other information. In 2026. Useless garbage app
The Alaska app has always been slow and quirky but now it’s slow, frustrating and buggy. Like the airline itself, and for that matter, most American customer service experiences, it’s obviously not designed around the customer experience. To quote our president’s wife, “I really don’t care” seems to be the new motto for Alaska
Have had login issues for the last couple of months. Appears to be a common issue with all of the recent reviews.
