8 of 40I’ve used Goodreads for years, and it’s still one of my favorite apps for readers. I love being able to track everything I read, set yearly reading goals, rate books, and keep my TBR organized all in one place. The recommendations have helped me discover so many new authors and series. I also enjoy reading other readers’ reviews before deciding on my next book. It’s easy to use, keeps my reading life organized, and makes reading even more enjoyable. A must-have app for any book lover! 📚💚
Pain to sign into, absurd to need an Apple ID or Amazon account
This app has great potential for readers! But I feel that the app itself is outdated and a bit neglected on the technical side. I think if a bit more time was invested in the app to improve functionality and nuance it would be a great app! I already really like it but the lack of ease to move through the app sets it back. Makes it feel old.
I’m grateful I track all my books on Goodreads because I recently lost all my book lists on Libby. Reading the reviews before picking my next book is very useful too.
Not only have I found tons of new books, authors, genres to read… I’ve also met a lot of really cool people in the book community. Definitely recommend to all book lovers.
