8 of 25There’s a couple ministries I keep trying to pull up on the app that I’ve followed online and the app never recognizes them. The search feature doesn’t work and then it won’t let me access them from my profile and it’s like they don’t exist. I find the app unhelpful in this regard.
So:
1) search feature doesn’t work well
2) app doesn’t have all the ministries that are actually on One Place
3) when I look at a ministry, to try and find the one I’m looking for, it auto plays their latest upload and I don’t want that and then there’s no way to clear it from playing.
4) (Based on 3) I find I have to constantly close the app to get it to reset so I can go back to what I’m trying to do.

Summary: one place is a very cool and neat idea, but I think as a whole the execution of it still needs a little work, especially the app which seems to have bugs or gaps as of Dec. 2025
no option to play a single app and titles don’t match content, doesn’t work as well behind firewall
On April 13, 2026, I downloaded the OnePlace app on the Apple Store. To sign up I had to share my email address. Knowing I will probably unsubscribe eventually as many sites send 2-3 emails a day. I looked forward to many inspiring podcasts with pastors I’d listened to and enjoyed. I did receive more emails than I wanted and had to contact the developer to halt them. I received notice that I was 100% unsubscribed and that was that. Sure enough after about 30 days all the emails stopped. I thank OnePlace and Salem communications for their help. I can now listen to OnePlace and enjoy the content online without the worry of email accumulation. Thanks and God Bless.
What happened to my favorites. Going to delete this app and try to
start over. Now I seem to need to sift thru all the preachers to get to my favorites 😩 thank you that u fixed my problem. No longer need to sign in every time. The app is back to great again!!
I’ve been using Oneplace for so many years, and it’s been my go to for Christian podcasts, but the last updates and changes to the app need more work. I liked when I would put on one podcast and it would end when the podcast was finished. But with this new update, another podcaster comes on, and if you don’t turn off the podcasts it will continue playing one podcasts after another until you close the app. I actually liked the old design of the app as well.
Now I have to sign in each time to see the programs I follow. Also I have to select follow on Running to Win each time. It doesn’t remain in the follow list.
When I started using this app a few years ago it was great. About two months ago they “improved” the app and now it is harder to use and has less features. With iOS I don’t have actusl player controls. No display of timing in play. No reverse or advance. Time remaining? I have started using Apple podcast app which also displays transcript.
I listen to a sermon every day at the gym!
