Most people pick easy to guess passwords which exposes them to the risk of having bank and credit card information stolen. Since people aren't good at picking passwords, security experts suggest using a password generator. This application generates random passwords for you. It does not store them; you need another ap for that. However, I have not been able to find a good password storage application that also generates passwords.

The free version is ok, but only allows you to generate passwords up to eight characters long using upper and lower case letters. Purchasing the $.99 version allows you to generate passwords as long as 26 characters using upper case, lower case, numbers, and punctuation. If you understand security, you'll want to pay for the full version.
