iOS 3 can’t install from Safari. You can still download the IPA file, but you’re on your own after that.

Trainyard has the best user review scores on the entire App Store!

[NOTE: there is a bug in iOS 8 which causes the game will freeze after certain puzzles. I'm looking into it, thanks for your patience!]

+ Innovative and challenging puzzle mechanic + Smooth difficulty curve + 100 main puzzles and over 50 bonus puzzles + Hundreds of ways to solve each puzzle + Puzzle editor: create your own puzzles + Retina display support + Easily share your unique solutions on Trainyard.ca + Looks GREAT on the iPad + Engineered for low battery usage + Colour-blind mode + Game Center support + A year in the making + Developed in my spare time (support indie games!)

Stuck on a puzzle? Visit http://trainyard.ca/solutions where there are over *1.5 million* player-submitted solutions.

Trainyard is a puzzle solving game unlike any that you've ever played. It's easy to learn but very tough to master. Your job is simple: get each train to a goal station. Red trains go to red stations, blue trains go to blue stations, etc. You control the trains by drawing track for them to follow. There isn't a time limit or even a score; the only thing you need to do is figure out a solution for each puzzle.

The first few puzzles are almost too easy, but as the difficulty increases you'll be thankful that you were able to practice the fundamentals of drawing track. As the game progresses, you'll have to use colour theory to combine trains of different colours, use timing to merge and split trains, and use every inch of your brain in your quest to beat the game.

Please for the love of god update this app. I wanna play it so bad. I started playing this app way back in the day.

This is a great puzzler!

This game is simple in its design and seems way to easy- at first! It hooks you with the ease at first and gets progressively harder on each level. I progresses thru a number of cities before I got one that was absolutely hard to figure out. I put it down for a few days and came back to try again. Eventually, I got it figured out and have moved on. I have not finished all levels yet, but look forward to the challenges. This game is unique and does not disappoint! Highly recommend, five stars! Update: 05/10/21- Matt, if you are still out there, it would be awesome to get this game updated to the newest iOS! I think I heard somewhere the ‘engines’ used to create it are what don’t work with the newer iOS. Have you considered rewriting the entire game? There are obviously so many of us that love this game, it’s a terrible shame to leave it hanging, and unusable! Please update it!

Please, support for iOS14!!!

Please update this game! I love it! It was my favorite iPhone game and now I can’t get it because of the updates and new phones! Matt Rix, please, please bring this game back! I check on it now and then to see if it’s still unavailable. It’s very addicting and very challenging! Never get bored of it!

Great Game!

This game is so much fun I've been playing it since I was about seven now I'm 15 and still love it. But this game could use an update it's been nine+ years since the last update came out and it wasn't much more levels would be fun and would keep me occupied longer. I would recommend this game to anyone this is one game that doesn't have AD's every two seconds this is a great game. If you are still alive Matt Rix, Please PLEASE!!!! UPDATE THIS!!!! THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME. Sincerely... -Johnathan White

I miss this game so much.

Count me among the other reviewers pining for that update that is “coming soon.” I typically check back on this once a year or so.
