Been using pocket yoga for 10 years now and have built my discipline and practice through the accessibility of yoga through this app. Thanks to this app I have been able to continue my practice while traveling abroad, and spark my interest for other practices in different apps and also with studios and communities across the world. Thank you pocket yoga!
With a bunch of poses i feel like there should be an option to create your own routine, a lot of the advanced poses aren’t featured in the preset routines.
This app is well worth the price. The soothing instructional voice couldn't describe the poses any better. You can tweak the settings to your liking very easily. The visual part of the poses really help one out when confused. The breathing instruction could slow down a little but it's as accurate as it can be. Best of all, it is a portable teacher! Overall a great exercise and app for your phone :)
I’ve used this app for 10 plus years, and have yet to find a yoga app or program that’s better.
The Apple Watch itself doesn’t even show the yoga exercises it only comes to life if you open something on iPhone that is a very poor limitation of the app and discourages me from using it . I will delete the app for Apple Watch because seriously it’s pointless
I’ve been using this app on and off for about 20 years. I love it!
The app should allow you to watch the workout before you do it without counting it as a completed workout. Trying to learn poses on my phone is pretty difficult. Might be better on a tablet? They should do a better job explaining each pose. They have a section showing all the poses with written instructions but it’s not suitable for a beginner. If they make this more newbie friendly it’d probably be a good app. As is I can see people injuring themselves or just giving up altogether. I had another issue signing in, which it asked me to do to make the app better? Well I can’t. I might end up returning this app which is a great price, but it might be worth it to spend more or even just watch something on YouTube.
