Giant waste of money

by Big fan3455678 · October 6, 2015

This app has not pulled up any of the foods I have scanned yet. It asks you to help you build the database by sending them photos of the product, ingredients, and nutrition info. I did that, and over 2 weeks later I'm still waiting for the foods to be uploaded. Don't waste your time here, safe eats is free and better.

I love this app and I want to help build the data base but it freezes every time I get to the second photo

Cumbersome

I don't like having to sign in every time I use it. Information is good but sometimes limited.

Limited allergens list

Very limited allergens list can not add additional allergen to the list

Useless because you will have to read the label anyway

Needs more products listed!

Doesn't have 80% of the products I'm buying listed- buying at publix.

Not very accurate

by AllergyMom1 · September 28, 2018

I downloaded this app because my son suffers from multiple food allergies. I just put the app to the test and scanned several items in my home that I know he can and cannot have. The items that I know he can have still came up on this app as caution and flagged items that I know he can have. It’s not very accurate. It was a waste of $2.99 for me.

Nothing in database

The idea is great. And it's fantastic for the items listed, but approx 65% of what I scan is not listed. Pretty disappointing for an app I had to pay for.
