8 of 25Overpriced at $10, but has promise. A few more improvements, and it might really be worth it. Like a guide to sizing cables, maybe with an adjustable safety factor, basket/choker length calculator, etc. Not bad, but needs more features.
Updated to OS 11. After tying to adjust hardware inventory the app crashes. Please fix soon!!!!!!
Bridle is a great pocket tool to layout or checking points. With the new upgrade for stock of cables, deck chains, and baskets gives it more flex on the job site. Love the Bridle app for quick reference and easy interface, makes calling point a little more fun. Bridle tensions and loads are a quick click away. Adjustment of points are a joy with this app, it speeds up those tough points to hang (especially for those Sound Guys).

I highly recommend this app for anyone who has to hang a point, a great addition to my tool bag. Riggers, Production Manager, Producer, Stagehand, Sound, or Lighting company will find the Bridle app is a very useful tool.

Can't wait for the next update….
No more sending points in to be rebuilt because your back lounge activity the night before is affecting your math the next morning. Get accurate info from the locals and you will built accurate points every time. Even better if you use a laser from the ground to pin point the center of the beam to get the most precise measurements. Stop the whining from the upriggers, they're only making $50.00 an hour or better. They should love the mistakes, but instead they whine. Not any more, then back to the lounge and REEEEElax.
Thanks Bridle.
So happy this was updated but as soon as you try to adjust available hardware it crashes ... 2 stars until it doesn’t crash
Pretty good, I'm a certified rigger and this should come in handy for many situations....just wish you could input the existing leg length to change the bridle equation, that way you could use an existing length of steel (5' 10' or 20' etc,) and be able to tell a client where his apex would be.
Pretty good app. Would be better if you could substitute point distance with 'distance from center.' Also it would be helpful to be able to input actual dimensions in the 'material' tab instead of just dragging with finger
This app is in need of an update! Even though I know the math sometimes it’s nice to have an app to confirm or when I don’t feel like doing the math!
