Animail

Have you ever dreamed about being able to x-ray through your different email inboxes and folders plus your Twitter timeline(s)? Well, we have. That's why we built Animail.

If you are getting buried under all the information hailing in, Animail is here to the rescue!

Animail lets you browse your email accounts and Twitter in a single timeline. He gets to know the people you know and highlights their messages accordingly. That's how you can see at a glance what’s important and what's not.

Want to see your email attachments and pictures linked from Tweets in a gallery? No problem with Animail's file view!

Animail is a cute puppy and not carnivorous: he keeps everything in sync with your existing accounts. Without eating your homework.

Animail wants to play fetch the news on your iPhone, too. He wants to become your little sidekick for x-raying email and Twitter on the go, so we taught him some tricks:

* A single timeline that combines all your sync’ed email and Twitter accounts. * The concise user interface is fully optimized for the Retina Display on iPhone 4. * Messages from known persons appear highlighted in the timeline. (customizable) * Filter messages from all your sources by person. * Star messages to read or reply to them later. * Show unread messages only. * Combine the above and you have a powerful tool to manage your email flow. * Browse email attachments or picture links in Tweets in Animail’s file view. * No folders. No hassle.

IMPORTANT: Email accounts need to support IMAP access to sync with Animail (like Googlemail, Yahoo!Mail, AOL Mail and others).

HOTMAIL / LIVE Users: Hotmail / Live currently does not support IMAP, so Animail cannot sync and will not work with Hotmail / Live accounts!

If you are not sure about your email account find more information at: http://www.theanimail.com/imap_server_settings.html. Or ask us on Twitter: @theanimail

Easy setup:

One-step setup for major email providers: your username and password is all you need.

Requirements:

* Email accounts need to support the IMAP protocol to sync with Animail (like Googlemail, Yahoo!Mail, AOL Mail and many others) * An iPhone or iPod Touch running version 3.0 software or later. * Network connection is required to sync messages.

Data security:

We keep your private date private and secure: all your private data (like emails or logins) is encrypted with your Animail password with military grade strength. Animail exchanges data with the synchronization service only over a secure connection. Both is to make sure that no one else than you gets access to your private data.
