Very nice collection of well edited public domain short stories and stand-alone chapters from books. The collection is uneven in terms of interest (for me), but is broad enough to find plenty of things to read. Most of the stories, so far, have been new to me, but some of the stand-alone chapters have piqued my interest enough to send me in search of the full book. These are OLD stories and many are decidedly not politically correct and use language that today is deemed offensive. Just think of it as anthropological or historical research and read away!
I absolutely love this app. Tremendous diversity of authors and stories. Top 10 app, easily.
I've had this collection loaded on my phone for a year. It's packed with gems! It's been so nice to have something great to read right at my fingertips whenever I find myself with a few moments of downtime.
I love this app. Thank you!
An amazing collection of short stories which I use when I have short periods of free time, usually waiting for something or someone. I am currently reading my way through the Jack London collection and I see several other author's collections that I am looking forward to reading.
great selection of stories, especially from some of the better writers, like Lovecraft, Poe, London and Kipland. the only complaint I have with the e-reader as a whole is I would like it to have some sort of indication letting you know you completed a story ( maybe even a separate tab with the list of the completed stories) and more options for how it looks, the graphics when your reading the stories.

otherwise, a fine app with many many short stories from some very unknown authors. I've read about ten stories from people I've never heard of and they're really great. I would love, of could, genre break-downs, but I know that's difficult. and I would love to read more sci-fi and fantasy stuff. a collection like that would be a worthy buy! but at .99, you REALLY can't beat this. RECOMMENDED!
There are certainly other writers I'd like to see here, but this is a wonderful collection and the price is right. Vonnegut? Hopefully in the next update...
