8 of 23Lots of fun...just like the original. Please add the ability to teleport.
My favorite game on the iPod touch. Now, how about an iPad version?! The bigger screen would be amazing. Totally addictive. One gripe, I'd like a different hyperspace trigger, I'm always accidentally going into hyperspace when firing in multiple directions with two fingers. It mis-reads two separate taps as a single double tap. Either reduce the tolerance (if you can) to make only truly simultaneous taps count, or make it a button somewhere else, or make it an option to just turn off. I never want to hyperspace anyway, but firing in all directions with multiple fingers is great. Thanks.
Looks like the real deal. The biggest problem I found is when you are flying fast across the screen, you can fly faster than your bullets. So you are unable to shoot what is in front of you. Needs to be fixed!
Closest to the original game I've seen. The small saucer should be worth 1000 points as in the original game though. Change the sound of the small saucer so not the same as the medium one. Would be nice to be able to add initials for the top scores like in original game.
Good for anyone who likes asteroids
The controls are iffy at best. Install a fire button and re-think the motion control. Not recommended.
I love the controls! When you get use to the touch screen thrusting, firing and hyperspace, your intuition takes over, then the input becomes precise and lightening fast just like the classic asteroid game. My high so far is 247,525. It's extremely challenging and I've been loving it:-).
Update: The new version is excellent!!! The bugs seem to be fixed and the small UFO has been implemented. Bravo!!!! Just one problem. After some amount of time, the game seems to hit a point where there are endless ships and the game never ends. Also, please add small UFO and an indicator for hyperspace status. Update: Hyperspace seems to be using up a life. Take care of the aforementioned things and I will gladly change to 5 stars.
