8 of 25My 2 year old daughter loves this game. It is amazing to see her put the letters in the right spot.
Great app with logical parental controls and many options. With or w/o hints, short, long or random length words, force left to right or random. My son has "graduated" through the different options and chooses this app over others. It's easy to understand what to do, good feedback for errors, quick response when touching and dragging the letters. Also offers categories for what words you spell, i.e. home, colors, animals, etc. Or choose all words and get random mix. Nice options to keep the game fresh or growing with the child.
It's really worth it to get the Deluxe version. App works the same on iPad and iPhone and my son doesn't care which device he's on as long as he can play. The biggest thing is he is spelling these words outside of the app now and isn't that the point? Win.
My son played this game so much and still does.
This is my grandsons favorite app and I
think it is really great for him.
I got this app to help teach my son his lowercase letters (already knew uppercase) in a fun way. I love how customizable the app is! In a short time my son has learned many of these words.
My daughter learned each letter sound by using the bobs books app. I was looking for a similar app so I bought this. She doesn't seem to like this one as much, although it is a similar concept. The other one allowed her to put sentences together by spelling one word at a time. Helpful hint though, go into settings in this game and change it to phonics so the letter sound is said and not the actual letter.
Fun and easy to use. Great for preschoolers.
Would recommend new words and better pictures though. Also adding short definitions would be great!
