I find duolingo too casual and with inadequate explanations. This one is the best with a systematic approach. Really helpful for me to understand the rules so that I can apply to more situations.

One minor issue: Chapter 9 Lesson 43. In the text 6am is said to be "las seis DE mañana" whereas in all the subsequent quiz and super quiz questions de was replaced with POR. this is very confusing and it seems DE is the correct usage.

The best app ever..

Mirai Spanish is an excellent start for the beginning Spanish speaker. I'll have to update my review when I complete the course.

So I purchased this app at full price and they've updated it and now it is a pay as you go. The initial version was better. It allowed you to see all the sections that were being read out loud. Now the boxes before and after a whited out so I can ONLY see what is currently being read. Frustrating because you have to click back when before all you had to do was glance up to catch a word you maybe have missed. Also, it doesn't keep track of where you are. It is divided into chapters and each chapter has lessons but it's just really difficult to remember what chapter/section you left off on. I dont know. I'm looking for a new app at this point.
